Today we are going for a walk in the stunning Herastrau Park, in Bucharest.
I do not know about you but I love visiting parks when I travel to a new place and I feel really happy when I find them inside a big city. The specific park, is one of the biggest and most beautiful ones I have ever visited and although the weather was a bit cold when I was there I really enjoyed the walk and still remember that great day. It is an amazing park, really clean, full of statues, that offers to it`s guests a lot of joy and fantastic nature icons. The green and the flowers are endless and the colors are so amazing.
Herastrau park is huge and you can see all of it by either walking around, rent a bike or a boat and enjoy the lake. The benches all around offer quiet corners for relaxing breaks, reading a book (or writting one if you get inspired) or enjoy a snack. It is suitable for both romantic or family adventures.
The park is at the northertn part of the city, close to the Village Museum, the Triumph Arch and the Spring Palace.
If you ever visit Bucharest, you should definitely spend a few hours there.
